I’m 6 foot, 175 pounds, long arms, long torso, body built is athletic. (Also I have very large hands. Reference for pictures.) I bought an XL jacket. Personally I think it’s a great fit. Enough room to layer up underneath with a jacket if needed and to have some breathing room if not layering up. I wear a little looser fitting clothes in general but this is a perfect size for me. Also quality is very nice with that great leather smell. Unfortunately I did not realize it didn’t have outer pockets but that’s on me. The pocket inside is large and easily accessible. Heavier weight, warm, great protection. Overall I love the style and I highly recommend buying. Hope this review helps anyone debating if it’s worth it.

Was very heavy. Smelt actually terrible. Seemed like good quality leather but the fit was way off. Didn’t use it to weld, but I feel it would have protected from burns and been functional if you could get it to fit and the smell to go away.

Decent quality, great seal/coverage against weld spatter or grinding burns. Collar seems made to tuck well under my (reversed of course) welding cap bill, neck comes well up under my welding helmet and cuffs fit nicely into my welding glove /gauntlets. Not too heavy for the protection it provides and buy a bit on the large size & no trouble with ease of movement.

For those who are wary of the corroded snap buttons. As of November 2024, the jacket has buttons have paint-coated top to prevent corrosion. The buttons are no longer copper, instead they seem to me made with stainless.The overall quality is great. Leather is soft and comfortable. The sizing is true to size.

I can’t use it with the Velcro/hook and loop. It just won’t work for me. My fault really, it is clearly in one of the pictures that it has velcro. I prefer a zipper or just buttons.
